Wild Wellbeing Walk and Talk is a natural therapy designed to support our mental health and wellbeing, preventative, during challenges and when needing recovery, which incorporates a successful nature inspired "six ways to wellbeing" as a model. Walk and Talk at a gentle and relaxed pace with plenty of time to chat, while walking, wheeling or sitting in an open natural space. Here is just one of the much appreciated thank you emails I received from one of my clients/ You can view others on my wild testmonials page.
Life Coaching (Walk and Talk / Face to Face / Online) includes support to improve lifestyle, self esteem and motivation, and getting back on track. It can also be for discussing ideas, and having someone to contact, when there is a need to talk, but no one else to listen.
Graded Exposure (Walk and Talk / Face to Face / Online) is a therapy for those who can find daily tasks anxiety inducing; it may be going to the shop, travelling on public transport, leaving the house, or communicating with others.
Trauma Unbonded (Walk and Talk / Face to Face / Online) is peer coaching, advice and support for those who have become stuck in, or are finding it hard to leave or have left a toxic, trauma bonded relationship.
Bullying and Workplace Bullying (Walk and Talk / Face to Face / Online) - Sadly as many as 3 million / 10 to 11% of the UK workforce are the victims of workplace bullies and abusers in any one year in the UK, (source TUC) which in turn leads to millions of lost hours in the workplace every year. It is something I have witnessed both as a victim and in observing others being bullied and abused. Recent data from ACAS shows 44% of the UK workforce experience some form of interpersonal conflict annually. This can be excessive criticism, verbal abuse, and humiliation in front of colleagues or co-workers, this last one I witnessed on a weekly basis. Being bullied in any setting is something that can lead to severe mental health challenges including, Depression, Anxiety and PTSD.
Bereavement and Loss - Adult and Child Support Available (Walk and Talk / Face to Face / Online) Grief is not something we get over, or should ever be told to get over or move on from, grief is something we learn to live with. My first encounter with grief was at age 4, but I didn't realise then what is was, and I don't remember anyone ever explaining it. It was more a thing not discussed. Sadly at aged 19 I faced grief again, but as an adult, it was still felt best not talked about and no one did. I still remember those times, as if they were yesterday, because grief stays.
Thankfully I now know how to manage and live with grief from a place of hope and love, and have used that grief to inspire the directions that I have taken in life, including supporting those who have experienced similar. Let's talk about your loss and grief, it doesn't have to be human loss, but any loss you need support with, you are not alone and I'm here to listen. (Child 10+ and Adult Support Available)
